Mohamed Toure scored a hat-trick in the second half as Norwich came from behind to defeat Bristol City 4-2 in a mid-table Championship match at Ashton Gate. The home team took the lead within two minutes when Sam Morsy scored with a right-footed shot from outside the box. However, Norwich equalized in the 51st minute when Toure headed the ball into the net after his initial header was saved by Radek Vitek. Norwich then took the lead in the 70th minute with a quick counter-attack, and Toure completed his hat-trick by deflecting in Paris Maghoma's strike.
Jose Cordoba made it 4-1 with a header from Kenny McLean's cross, before substitute Sam Bell scored a consolation goal for Bristol City in stoppage time. The win marked the first defeat for Bristol City's interim head coach Roy Hodgson. Norwich's manager Philippe Clement praised Toure, saying he has a great chance of being in Australia's starting line-up for the World Cup and is a great lad who is always ready to listen and learn.
