Former Nottingham Forest and Scotland Star John Robertson Passes Away at 72

John Robertson, a legendary footballer who played for Nottingham Forest and the Scotland national team, has passed away at the age of 72. Robertson was a key player in Forest's European Cup victories in 1979 and 1980, and also won 28 caps for Scotland during his international career. He started and ended his career at Forest, with a spell at local rivals Derby in between. After retiring from football, Robertson went on to become a coach and assistant manager, working alongside Martin O'Neill at several clubs. Robertson's family has released a statement, saying he passed away peacefully on Christmas morning after a long illness, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
