American cricketer Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy has received an eight-year ban from all forms of cricket by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after being found guilty of breaching the ICC Anti-Corruption Code on three counts. The violations, which include match-fixing and destroying evidence, occurred during the Abu Dhabi T10 competition. Reddy, who has been suspended since November, was found guilty of attempting to improperly influence match results, soliciting others to engage in match-fixing, and obstructing the investigation by deleting relevant data from his mobile device.
The ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal backdated the ban to November 21, 2025, when Reddy was initially suspended.
