Sky Sports Racing ambassador Hollie Doyle will be in action at Newmarket's Craven meeting, with a notable ride on Derby prospect Wareeth in the Listed Feilden Stakes. Wareeth, trained by Archie Watson, will face a significant class jump after his impressive 14-length win in a novice race at Newcastle. Although he doesn't have a Derby entry, his performance has been delightful, and his second start will reveal more about his potential. Wareeth will compete against Aidan O'Brien's Isaac Newton, who has a Derby entry and an official rating of 106, and Godolphin's Poseidon's Warrior, who also makes the leap from novice company.
Both Wareeth and Poseidon's Warrior are entered in the traditional Derby trial, the Group 2 Dante at York. Doyle will also ride Zoulu Chief in the Weatherbys With Venatour Racing Handicap, expecting a strong performance from the sprinter.
Additionally, she will ride Harlequin Breeze in the Group 3 Lanwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes, despite the outsider's likely odds. Impossible Mission needs to demonstrate his ability on turf, receiving weight from all his rivals in the National Stud Handicap. Lady Fizz, a debutant, will face fillies from prominent yards in the Molson Coors British EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes.
Doyle looks forward to riding Prince Of India in the Zyn Abernant Stakes and expects big things from Hawk Mountain in the Group 3 Betway Craven Stakes. Boiling Point, another favorite of Doyle's, returns to turf in the Group 3 Betway Earl Of Sefton Stakes.
