Following his remarkable debut in ONE Championship, British fighter Ben Woolliss is scheduled to make his return on May 16, broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss will face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, also airing live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Saturday, May 16.

This upcoming bout at ONE Fight Night 43 pits Woolliss against a formidable opponent, a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion. Despite battling long-term health issues, Woolliss recently signed with ONE and made a stunning promotional debut last month. He accepted his first fight on short notice, just nine days, and secured a spectacular one-round stoppage victory over former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing match.

Lineker, known for his powerful punching, was defeated by Woolliss's damaging low kicks. The main event on May 16 features Chinese star Tang Kai as he defends his ONE featherweight MMA world title against Shamil "The Cobra" Gasanov.

Tang Kai has been unstoppable, defeating every featherweight MMA opponent in his path. However, Gasanov boasts a near-flawless record, leveraging his powerful stand-up skills, grappling expertise, and submissions to overwhelm his competition. After avenging his sole career loss, Gasanov is poised to strike and may prove unbeatable.
