I have a busy Saturday ahead of me, with multiple rides at Thirsk. My first ride is on the two-year-old Niewiadoma, a Cotai Glory filly, in the British EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes.
She has shown natural speed and a great attitude in her preparation, and I'm excited to see how she performs. Merlier, who has been progressive on the All-Weather, will be my ride in the Stirrup Bar For Deli-Style Dining Packages Handicap. He's earned an opening rating of 85, which seems fair.
I'm also looking forward to riding Warm Spell in the Join Racing TV Today Handicap, as he's been eased to a career-low mark. Meanwhile, at Newbury, I think Zavateri is the one to beat in the Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes, following his impressive win in the Group 1 National Stakes in Ireland. The Group 3 Dubai Duty Free Stakes looks like an open renewal, but I believe Touleen has the potential to do well, despite a disappointing performance in the Rockfel last autumn.
I'm also hoping to see Urban Lion build on his win in the Lincoln by adding the Win Unique Experiences At OLBG Prizes Spring Cup Handicap, and for Al Aasy to win the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Stakes for Tom Marquand and William Haggas.
