Following his unanimous decision victory over Regis Prograis, Conor Benn has expressed his eagerness to face WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia. Benn's win, which came after a grueling fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, marked his first bout of the year. Despite suffering cuts to his eye due to several head clashes, Benn emerged victorious and quickly shifted his focus to Garcia. In a social media post, Benn stated, 'Garcia, I want my belt! Keep my belt warm,' and proposed a September showdown. Garcia, who won the WBC title in February, responded positively to the challenge. Benn's victory over Prograis, which took place at a catchweight 3lb above the welterweight limit, improved his fight record to 25-1. With his sights set on Garcia, Benn is now preparing to move down to the 147lb weight class.
