Gilley Vows to Fight Anyone, Except Greene, After Nightmare Year

Sam Gilley is set to put a difficult year behind him as he prepares to face Aston Brown in a middleweight bout in Glasgow. Following a draw with Gideon Onyenani and a narrow loss to Ishmael Davis, Gilley is determined to bounce back. "I still believe I won both fights, it was just a terrible year that taught me valuable lessons," he stated. Gilley remains eager to claim the British title, saying, "If I get another chance, I'd be grateful. Fighting for it at Tottenham was a huge achievement, and I'm still proud of that." However, one person he refuses to face again is Louis Greene, due to their fallen-through rematch. "I'll fight anyone, but I'll never give Louis Greene another opportunity. He wasted two years of my career, and that's something that still angers me," Gilley said. He is now focused on his upcoming fight with Brown, a former international amateur with impressive punching power. Gilley is confident in his abilities, saying, "I was built for the tough fights, and I'm eager to see if Brown can handle it. I'm confident in my skills, my endurance, and my toughness."
