Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive wins, Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to Hexham for the National Hunt event on Monday. Jamesieconn will be looking to secure a fourth straight victory for the in-form Richards team, having shown a strong performance at Carlisle and now facing a 5lb increase to a mark of 100. Streamsforth Lad, despite not yet claiming a win, has shown promise and will be racing off a mark of 97. Meanwhile, Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will be competing after a recent second-place finish over the same course and distance. In other racing news, Young Getaway will be making his chasing debut in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, while That One will also be making his first start over fences. Other notable horses competing include Azleet, who has entered 1000 Guineas contention, and Soul Love, who will be racing in the Prix Sigy at Chantilly. The Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore combination will be fielding two runners, Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, with the former having shown consistent form of late. Grant Wood will be returning to Gosforth Park, where he has previously found success, and Wicket Keeper will be looking to build on his two wins over six furlongs. Paddy's Day will be wearing a tongue-tie for the first time, while Albasheer will be ridden by Hollie Doyle. Gardener will also be competing in the Happy Retirement Maurice & Anne Barnes Handicap Hurdle, looking to follow up on his recent win over the same course and distance.
