Anna Huang preserved her narrow lead over Charley Hull in the third round of the PIF London Championship. Hull's impressive performance, which included a course-record 62 in the second round and a six-under 67 in the third, propelled her into second place. Huang, meanwhile, posted a course-best third-round 65, keeping her just three shots ahead of Hull.
Hull's round featured nine birdies, four on the front nine and five on the back, with only one bogey on the back nine. Despite a slow start, Hull rebounded to apply pressure on Huang going into the final round.
"I didn't have the best start," Hull said, "but I managed to bounce back and play solidly. I'm looking forward to a week off after this event." Hull praised Huang, saying, "Anna is a talented young player with a well-rounded game. I think she has a promising future ahead of her, possibly on the LPGA Tour next year." Elsewhere, Aine Donegan of Ireland moved into third place with a 69, while Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit and Lydia Hall of Wales are tied on 10-under. Alice Hewson struggled with a par 73, remaining 10th in the standings, six-under.
The English contingent is rounded out by Georgia Hall and Cara Gainer, who are four and three-under, respectively. The fourth round of the PIF London Championship will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Golf from 1pm on Sunday.
