Elena Rybakina booked her spot in the final of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix with a convincing 7-5, 6-1 win over 18-year-old Mirra Andreeva in Stuttgart. Rybakina, the 2026 Australian Open champion, will face Karolina Muchova in the final on Sunday, broadcast live on Sky Sports Tennis from midday. The match was closely contested in the first set, with both players exchanging breaks before Rybakina's experience paid off, allowing her to take the lead.
From there, Rybakina took control, winning the first five games of the second set to secure a composed victory. "I'm feeling great, and I'm super happy to be in the final," Rybakina said, despite having a late night after her quarter-final match against Leylah Fernandez lasted over three hours. "I'm pretty happy with my performance, considering I had a three-hour match yesterday," she added. Rybakina revealed she didn't get to bed until 2am on Friday night but still managed to sleep in and have a regular warm-up before the semi-final.
Earlier in the day, Flavio Cobolli defeated world No 3 Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-3 to secure his spot in the ATP 500 Munich final. Cobolli, who fired 32 winners and lost just eight points on his first serve, will face Ben Shelton in the final on Sunday, live on Sky Sports Tennis from 2pm.
"It was one of my best matches ever, against one of my best friends on Tour," Cobolli said. "I think I played one of my best matches, and I'm really happy about my performance." Cobolli's victory makes him the third player this season to reach ATP Tour finals on both clay and hard courts, joining Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. He also moves up to 12th in the live ATP rankings as he chases his fourth ATP Tour title and third at ATP 500 level.
