Baumgardner Sets Sights on Taylor, Serrano, and Mayer: 'Bring Them On'

Unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner is on the hunt for the biggest fights in the sport, with Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and Mikaela Mayer firmly in her sights. "Those three are all fantastic matchups. I want them all," Baumgardner stated. The American is prioritizing these bouts over a potential fight against Britain's unified lightweight world champion Caroline Dubois. "I'm chasing the largest and most significant fights. Dubois isn't ready yet. Is she eager? Absolutely. Am I avoiding her? No. I'm focused on the biggest possible fights, and that one will happen when the time is right," Baumgardner said. Before pursuing those fights, Baumgardner will first defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, live on Sky Sports from 3am on Saturday morning. "Bo is a warrior, just like I know she is. But I'm hungrier, meaner, and sharper," Baumgardner said. Baumgardner aims to showcase a more aggressive side of herself in the upcoming fight. "I know I can go the distance, so now I want to bring out the other aspects of my fighting style. That's the meaner, more aggressive, hungrier side - that's what I'm aiming for on fight night." Shin, however, has other plans and is determined to ruin Baumgardner's ambitions. "Alycia has always been my goal, and now it's time for me to take her belts," Shin said. "I have a lot of respect for Baumgardner. She's a strong fighter with a great style, but I believe I have more perseverance, and I'll prove it." The fight between Alycia Baumgardner and Bo Mi Re Shin will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Action and Main Event from 3am on Saturday morning.
