Usyk has expressed his enthusiasm for their collaboration, stating, 'We support each other, work together, and have a great time. We've transitioned from being rivals to friends.' Hearn noted that training with Usyk has already had a significant impact on Joshua, citing the benefits of being around the best fighter in the sport. Usyk is also preparing for his own upcoming fight against Rico Verhoeven on May 23. When asked about his future plans, Usyk stated, 'My focus is currently on the May 23 fight in Egypt. I will consider other plans after that.'
