Usyk Trains with Joshua to Overcome Fury: 'AJ Will Emerge Victorious'
Oleksandr Usyk has pledged to assist Anthony Joshua in defeating Tyson Fury. Joshua, a former world champion who lost to the Ukrainian twice, has joined Usyk's training camp, and the two are working together. Usyk has welcomed Joshua into his team, stating, 'We support each other, work together, and have a great time. We've transitioned from being rivals to friends.' As a two-weight, three-time undisputed world champion, Usyk is well-equipped to advise Joshua on how to take on Fury. 'I believe AJ will succeed in beating my friend Fury,' Usyk said. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that negotiations are progressing for a potential fight between Joshua and Fury later this year. Usyk may even be in Joshua's corner for the fight. Hearn expressed confidence in Joshua's ability to win, citing the positive impact of training with Usyk. 'The setup is incredible, and being around the best fighter in the sport is inspiring,' Hearn said. Usyk is currently preparing for his own fight against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 and is focused on defending his WBC title.
