Anthony Joshua is poised to face Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated battle, with a potential warm-up fight in July preceding their November showdown. Fury has already committed to the fight, having recently defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov.

However, Joshua's involvement was uncertain due to a recent car accident in Nigeria that resulted in the loss of his friends. Promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Joshua's team received the contract for the Fury fight and is reviewing it, with the boxer expected to resume full training soon. A July bout, possibly against Deontay Wilder, is being considered before the Fury clash. Hearn stated that facing Wilder and then Fury back-to-back is a viable option, although Wilder's camp has denied any discussions.

The plan is for Joshua to have a tune-up fight in July and then face Fury in November, but the details are still being finalized.
