Sinner Achieves 20th Consecutive Masters 1000 Victory, Alcaraz Advances to Semifinals

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner has added another milestone to his career, securing his 20th successive Masters 1000 win with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Felix Auger-Aliassime. This achievement places him alongside tennis legends Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal. Sinner's win followed a brief setback in his 37-set winning streak during the fourth round against Tomas Machac. He rebounded strongly to defeat Auger-Aliassime in straight sets, confirming his spot in the semifinals and continuing his pursuit to reclaim the world's number one spot from Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz, the current world number one, also advanced to the semifinals by defeating Alexander Bublik 6-3, 6-0. Sinner will face Alexander Zverev in the semifinals, while Alcaraz will play against hometown favorite Valentin Vacherot, who made history as the first Monegasque player to reach the semifinals at Monte Carlo.
