Gary Player Offers Support to Tiger Woods but Urges Caution
Golf legends Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus have expressed their support for Tiger Woods, who is currently absent from the Masters tournament due to health issues. Woods, a 15-time major champion, has been dealing with the aftermath of a car crash and is seeking treatment. Player, in particular, sympathized with Woods' chronic pain but emphasized the importance of prioritizing his safety, suggesting that he should refrain from driving and instead use a chauffeur. Nicklaus also offered words of encouragement, stating that golf needs Woods and would love to have him back. Augusta National chairman Fred Ridley confirmed that they support Woods' decision to focus on his health and well-being, and wish him the best in his recovery.
