Prograis Warns Benn's Risky Strategy Will Ultimately Backfire

Regis Prograis believes Conor Benn's decision to fight him will prove to be a costly mistake. Benn is set to face Prograis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he has previously secured middleweight victories over Chris Eubank Jr. Prograis, a former super-lightweight world champion, is moving up to 150lbs to fight Benn at a catchweight with no rehydration limit. Despite the terms being set in Benn's favor, Prograis is confident in his ability to win. "They've definitely set it on his terms, but I know I can come out on top," Prograis said. "I've spent my entire career fighting at 140lbs, so this is a significant jump for me." Prograis revealed that he requested a weight stipulation for the day after the fight, but it was denied. "I didn't care about the weight; I just wanted to make the fight happen," he explained. Prograis is unconcerned about the lack of a rematch clause, stating, "We don't have a rematch clause, but if the people want to see it, why not?"
