Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. According to allegations, on January 4, the 26-year-old drove at high speeds in various parts of Glasgow City Centre. The charges claim that Sterling put other road users at risk by driving into their path and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving while intoxicated on the same day. Notably, Sterling had participated in a match against Celtic the day before, which Rangers won 3-1. It is alleged that Sterling had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been adjourned by Sheriff Jonathan Guy until a further hearing on May 5.
