Luton manager Jack Wilshere has earned his first managerial trophy after his team defeated Stockport 3-1 in the Vertu Trophy final. Wilshere, a two-time FA Cup winner as a player, achieved this milestone in his debut season as a manager, thanks to goals from Emilio Lawrence and a double from Nahki Wells. The team's third goal came in the first of 10 added minutes, with Wells scoring again. Wilshere expressed his pride in winning as a manager, stating it surpasses his experiences as a player.
