Taylor's Final Showdown: Will Dubois Be Her Last Opponent?
Caroline Dubois is more than willing to step into the ring with Katie Taylor for the Irish boxing legend's potential retirement fight. However, Dubois acknowledges that Taylor holds the reins in deciding her final opponent. "Since it's Katie's last bout, she's in control and I genuinely believe that," Dubois expressed to Sky Sports. Dubois's promoter, Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian's MVP, is eager to make this highly anticipated match a reality. Bidarian shared, "My ideal scenario is for Caroline to be Katie Taylor's final dance partner." Although Dubois is open to the opportunity, she doubts its feasibility. Instead, she's exploring other options, including a unification bout against IBF champion Elif Nur Turhan. Dubois is also keen on facing American rival Alycia Baumgardner, the unified super-featherweight champion, also promoted by MVP. "The fight against Alycia is massive, and I know she's trying to avoid it, but it's a significant bout," Dubois stated. "I'm going to pursue the biggest fights possible and hopefully, people will hold her accountable for her actions and words."
