A brilliant unbeaten half-century from Matt Short propelled Welsh Fire to a six-wicket win over Southern Brave, bringing them level on points with Trent Rockets at the top of The Hundred table. The Fire opted to bowl and their experienced seamers made an immediate impact, with Chris Woakes and Sam Cook reducing the Brave to 2-2.
