However, the prospect of competing in a home Olympics has proven too enticing to resist. In a recent interview with TIME magazine, Felix expressed her determination to defy expectations and push beyond her limits. 'Why not go for it?' she said, emphasizing the importance of being bold and taking risks.
Felix's potential participation in the LA28 Games is motivated by her desire to experience the electric atmosphere of competing in a home Olympics, having previously witnessed the roar of support for host-country athletes. Although her spot at the Games is not guaranteed, Felix is willing to navigate the challenging US track and field qualification system to make her Olympic dreams a reality.
