St Helens have moved level with Leeds at the summit of the Super League after securing a hard-fought 18-12 win against Wakefield Trinity. The home side dominated the opening half, with Jake Davies and Kyle Feldt crossing the line, while Tristan Sailor added a third try after an interception.
Although Wakefield fought back in the second half with tries from Tyson Smoothy and Caius Faatili, St Helens held on for the win, with Jackson Hastings kicking a crucial penalty. Meanwhile, Mikey Lewis scored four tries as Hull KR thrashed Bradford 48-12, with Rhyse Martin converting all eight of his side's tries, to move into the play-off places.
