Injury Blow for England Women's Team Ahead of Six Nations

The English women's rugby team faces a significant challenge due to injuries, with Hannah Botterman and May Campbell being the latest to be sidelined from the Guinness Women's Six Nations. Botterman requires a second surgery for an ankle injury she sustained in December while playing for Bristol, and Campbell will undergo knee surgery next week. Furthermore, Alex Matthews, a key number eight player, will miss the upcoming match against Scotland due to a shoulder issue she sustained during the 33-12 win over Ireland. To bolster the team, Delaney Burns from Bristol Bears and Liz Crake from Saracens have been added to the squad.
