Hull KR Thrash Toulouse as Leigh Secure Crucial Victory Over York

Hull KR dominated Toulouse with eight tries, securing their third consecutive win in the Betfred Super League with a resounding 46-0 victory. The visitors took an early lead with Elliot Minchella's try, and despite having another try disallowed, Rhyse Martin extended the lead to 12-0. Hull KR continued to pile on the pressure, with Tyrone May and Joe Burgess scoring tries either side of half-time to make it 24-0. The team showed no mercy, with further tries from Jez Litten, Peta Hiku, Jai Whitbread, and Burgess' second, condemning Toulouse to their sixth straight defeat. Meanwhile, Leigh returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 18-6 victory over York. Adrian Lam's side had won only one of their last four matches but came out on top at the LNER Community Stadium. Gareth O'Brien and Xavier Va'a traded first-half tries before Adam Cook's penalty gave the visitors an 8-6 half-time lead. Josh Charnley and Jacob Alick-Wiencke scored in the second half to help Leigh grind out the win and climb to 10th in the table. The victory was a much-needed boost for Leigh, who had been struggling with injuries but welcomed back some of their key players for the trip to North Yorkshire.
