Rashford's Manchester United Future Remains Uncertain
Manchester United's interim manager, Michael Carrick, has stated that no decision has been made regarding Marcus Rashford's future at the club. The 28-year-old forward is currently on loan at Barcelona, with the Spanish club holding a £26m option to buy clause. However, with Barcelona reportedly hesitant to exercise this option, Carrick has left the door open for Rashford's potential return to Old Trafford. Rashford has scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 43 appearances for Barcelona but has faced criticism for a recent dip in form. Despite this, United are confident that they can secure a higher fee for Rashford if Barcelona choose not to sign him permanently. The club is expected to strengthen its left-wing options ahead of a likely return to European competition next season, with RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande and Everton's Iliman Ndiaye reportedly being considered as potential targets. Carrick has acknowledged that recruitment discussions have taken place but emphasized that concrete decisions will be made at a later time.
