Baumgardner Eyes Showdowns with Taylor, Serrano, and Mayer
Unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner is on the hunt for high-profile bouts with Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and Mikaela Mayer. "I'm looking to take on all three; they're fantastic fights," Baumgardner stated. The American boxer considers these matchups a higher priority than facing Britain's unified lightweight champion Caroline Dubois. "My focus is on the biggest and best fights available. Dubois isn't ready yet, but I'm not avoiding her; our fight will happen when the time is right," Baumgardner explained. Before pursuing those fights, Baumgardner will defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin at New York's Madison Square Garden Theater, broadcast live on Sky Sports. "Bo Mi Re Shin is a fierce competitor, but I'm hungrier and sharper. I'm looking to unleash my aggressive side and come out on top," Baumgardner said. Shin, however, is determined to derail Baumgardner's plans. "Alycia has always been my target, and now it's time for me to take her titles," Shin said. "I have a lot of respect for Baumgardner's boxing style and strength, but I believe my perseverance will give me the edge I need to win."
