Jango Baie Claims Victory in the Racing Welfare Bowl at Aintree

Jango Baie, the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up, achieved a triumphant win at Aintree by taking full advantage of a fall from Impaire Et Passe in the Racing Welfare Bowl. Trained by Nicky Henderson, the seven-year-old was the favorite to end his season on a high note, having previously chased home Gaelic Warrior in the blue riband at Prestbury Park. Despite some imperfect jumping, Jango Baie produced his best leap of the race two fences from home, ultimately crossing the finish line with a 16-length lead over Dan Skelton's Protektorat.
