Liverpool Bounce Back with Convincing Win Over Fulham as Ngumoha Steals the Show

Liverpool put an end to their three-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over Fulham, easing the pressure on manager Arne Slot. Rio Ngumoha made history by becoming Liverpool's youngest Premier League goalscorer at Anfield, netting the opener at just 17 years and 225 days old. His impressive strike was followed by a classic goal from Mohamed Salah, who scored his second Premier League goal since November. Despite facing 19 shots and nine corners, Liverpool managed to keep a clean sheet, a welcome change from their recent trend of conceding two or more goals in the final 20 minutes of Premier League games. The win gives Liverpool a four-point cushion in the race for the final Champions League spot, with Chelsea, who are in sixth place, facing Manchester City next. Slot's side had won only two of their previous eight games in all competitions, and the Dutchman was under scrutiny after being outplayed by Manchester City and Paris St Germain in the past week. However, Liverpool were aided by a rusty Fulham, who were playing their first game in three weeks and struggled to get going.
