Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. According to allegations, on January 4, the 26-year-old drove at high speeds through various roads in Glasgow's city center. The charges claim he drove into the path of other vehicles, lost control of his car, and exceeded the allowed blood alcohol limit. On the same date, Sterling is also accused of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. It is claimed that Sterling's breath contained 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters, surpassing the legal limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been adjourned by Sheriff Jonathan Guy until a further hearing on May 5.
