John Part Advances to Final Stage of PDC Qualifying School

Former world champion John Part has secured a spot in the final stage of the PDC Qualifying School, moving one step closer to reclaiming his place on the Pro Tour after a six-year hiatus. Part, a three-time world champion, progressed to phase two via the order of merit following a strong run in the first stage, which included victories over Alexander Elia, James Waite, and Darren McMahon. He ultimately fell to Ultan McDyer in the last 32. Other notable players who have advanced to the final stage include World Cup winner John Henderson and former Lakeside champion Scott Mitchell. The final stage, scheduled to take place from January 8 to 11, will feature 128 players at each venue, with tour cards up for grabs. The UK Qualifying School is being held at Arena MK in Milton Keynes, while the European Qualifying School is taking place at Wunderland Kalkar in Germany. A number of players, including Ted Evetts and Fallon Sherrock, have been exempted from the first stage and will join the competition in the final stage. Additionally, several players qualified through the UK ranking list, including Killian McCormack and John Part himself.
