Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Appears in Court on Drink-Driving Charges

Dujon Sterling, a 26-year-old Rangers football player, has been charged with dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The allegations stem from an incident on January 4, where Sterling allegedly drove at high speeds in Glasgow City Centre, putting other road users at risk and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he faces a charge of drink driving on the same date, with a breath test revealing 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres, exceeding the legal limit of 22mcg per 100ml. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been continued to a further hearing on May 5, as determined by Sheriff Jonathan Guy.
