Joey Barton Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charge

Ex-footballer Joey Barton has entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The incident allegedly occurred outside a golf club, where Barton and the victim, Kevin Lynch, had been socializing prior to the alleged attack.
