Sutton Rules Out Celtic's Title Chances, Tips Hearts or Rangers for Victory
Former Celtic player Chris Sutton has expressed his doubts about his old team's ability to secure their 14th league title since 2011, stating that it will likely come down to a battle between Hearts and Rangers. With just five games remaining in the Scottish Premiership, the margin for error is minimal, and Sutton believes Celtic's chances are slim. "It's impossible to predict, but I think it's between Hearts and Rangers," Sutton said. The recent performances of the three teams have added to the excitement, with all of them winning on the same weekend for the first time since January. Hearts currently top the table, one point ahead of Rangers, with Celtic a further two points behind. Despite the uncertainty, Sutton thinks Celtic's title defense is unlikely to succeed. "You just focus on the next game and try to win it," he said. Meanwhile, Rangers player Scott Arfield believes it's too early to count any team out, saying, "The next game is always the most important, but we look at where we think we can win and have belief in our ability to win." With no room for error, the title race is expected to go down to the wire.
