The 80-year-old claimed to have achieved a two-under 70, securing his 43rd club championship title across his golf courses. According to the club's PGA Championship page, Trump had previously won both titles in 2023 and secured a Senior Championship victory in 2024. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, 'I won with a score of 70, and I'm honored, given that I have very little time to practice due to my focus on other things.' He attributed his success to 'TALENT, and I have it, and they don't!' American sports writer Rick Reilly's book, Commander in Cheat, has suggested that Trump has a history of cheating at golf.
Trump has denied these allegations. The former US President will have his golfing skills on display as the Wyndham Championship begins on Thursday, August 6, live on Sky Sports.
