"No, I had no input at all," he replied. "I only learned about the decision when it was announced." When pressed about whether he would like to have a say, Scheffler responded, "If they want my opinion, I'm happy to give it. But the Ryder Cup is run by the PGA of America, not the PGA Tour, and not the players. So if they need my perspective, they have my contact information.
