Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit narrowed the gap with a 69, reaching 11 under, while China's Ruoning Yin jumped to 10 under with a 66, still six strokes behind Korda. English golfers Charley Hull and Lottie Woad, at five and four under respectively, remain farther back despite improving on their first two rounds. A win for Korda would propel her to the top of the world rankings, given that current leader Jeeno Thitikul missed the cut.
Reflecting on her third round, Korda noted, 'The front nine was great, but after missing a putt on the eighth hole, my game slowed down.' She plans to work on her putting ahead of the final round, saying, 'I just need to reset and hope it goes my way tomorrow.'
