According to Huddersfield's director of rugby, Andy Kelly, Cartwright, who recently stepped down as head coach of Hull FC, is also being considered for the role. Kelly stated that the club is meticulously evaluating a list of potential coaches, with Cartwright being one of the profiles they are looking into. The Giants are currently third from bottom in the Super League standings, having won only two of their eight games this season. Kelly emphasized the importance of making the right appointment, seeking a coach with a clear vision for the team's future and the ability to manage the squad effectively.
