In a social media post, DeChambeau stated, 'I experienced some discomfort in my wrist during yesterday's round and have decided to withdraw from the final round of LIV Golf Mexico City to prevent further injury.
This isn't how I wanted the week to go.' He hopes to be evaluated and return to competition at the LIV Golf Virginia event, scheduled for May 7-10. Rahm's Legion XIII team also secured their first win of the year, while David Puig finished second with a 66, earning valuable world ranking points and likely securing a spot in the PGA Championship. Puig's strong performance positions him for a potential US Open berth with another top finish in Virginia.
