Katie Taylor's final career bout at Dublin's Croke Park may feature an opponent provided by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. The company, which boasts the strongest roster in women's boxing, has a suitable opponent for Taylor's last fight. Nakisa Bidarian, MVP's co-founder, has suggested Caroline Dubois as a potential opponent for Taylor's swansong.
Alternatively, the winner of the upcoming WBA lightweight title fight between Holly Holm and Stephanie Han could also be a viable option. Bidarian envisions a scenario where the winner of Holm and Han's fight could face Taylor in her last bout, deeming it 'very logical.' Holm, a 44-year-old UFC champion, will face Han, a mother and full-time police officer, in the title fight. Bidarian aims to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing to stage the Croke Park event, emphasizing the importance of respecting Taylor's loyalty to her current representation. Hearn has ruled out Taylor fighting on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, which has also been proposed for Croke Park, and is instead focused on moving forward with Taylor's solo event.
