Clayton, also known as 'The Ferret,' has practically secured his spot at Finals Night at The O2 in May with a five-point lead at the top of the table. He currently holds 29 points, while Littler is in second place with 24 points, Gerwyn Price has 19 points in third, and Michael van Gerwen has 16 points in fourth. Littler made it to his fourth nightly final but was unable to secure the win.
The night in Rotterdam was notable for being the first time since 2019 that two Dutch players, Gian van Veen and van Gerwen, participated in the Premier League, although both lost in the quarter-finals. Clayton expressed his motivation, stating that he was annoyed by comments suggesting he was the favorite to finish at the bottom of the Premier League.
