The young athlete recently claimed victories in the 200 meters and Under-20 100m events at the Australian Athletics Championships, with times of 19.67 and 10.21 seconds, respectively. Bolt, the current world record holder in the 200m and 100m events, cautioned Gout about the importance of staying focused on his sport. In an interview with CNN, Bolt reflected on his own experiences as a young athlete, stating, "At that age, you're pulled in different directions, and it's easy to lose sight of your priorities." Gout is set to make his Diamond League debut in Oslo, competing in the 200m event alongside Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo. He has opted to skip the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, instead choosing to focus on the World Under-20 Championships in Oregon, scheduled for August.
