In a social media post, Green revealed that she had lost consciousness due to brain bleeding but is currently recovering in the ICU. Green, who previously won a unified world championship title by defeating Britain's Savannah Marshall, expressed gratitude to those who showed concern for her well-being during the fight. She also thanked her promoter, Nakisa Bidarian, and Most Valuable Promotions for their support during her hospitalization.
