Jonny Clayton strengthened his position at the top of the Premier League Darts standings with a 6-4 win over Luke Littler in the Night 11 final in Rotterdam. This marks Clayton's fourth nightly victory in the 2026 campaign, following his previous wins in Glasgow, Nottingham, and Brighton.
Clayton now holds a five-point lead at the top of the table with 29 points, solidifying his spot at Finals Night at The O2 in May. Littler, despite reaching his fourth nightly final, was unable to secure the win but managed to silence the Rotterdam crowd after they booed him during his walk-on. The night saw two Dutch players, Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen, participate in the Premier League for the first time since 2019, but both were eliminated in the quarter-finals.
Clayton expressed his determination to prove himself after being labeled as the favorite to finish at the bottom of the Premier League, stating that he has 'total respect' for Littler but is confident in his own abilities. Clayton's path to victory included a 6-5 win over Josh Rock in the semi-finals, where he showed his ability to win under pressure. He also defeated Van Gerwen 6-2, ending the Dutchman's hopes of a home win.
Littler started strong with a 6-3 win over Gerwyn Price, despite facing a hostile crowd, and later held off Luke Humphries 6-5 to reach the final. The Premier League Darts will continue every Thursday until May, with Luke Humphries defending his title.
