Following his remarkable ONE Championship debut, Britain's Ben Woolliss is scheduled to return to the ring on May 16, with the event broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss will face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, airing live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Saturday, May 16.

This bout will see Woolliss pitted against a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, Petchfergus, on ONE Fight Night 43. Despite battling long-term health issues, Woolliss, hailing from Grimsby, recently signed with ONE and made his promotional debut just last month. He accepted his first assignment on short notice, taking on former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing clash.

Lineker is infamous for his formidable punching power, but Woolliss secured a spectacular one-round stoppage victory, defeating "Hands of Stone" with a series of damaging low kicks. The main event on May 16 features Chinese star Tang Kai as he defends his ONE featherweight MMA world title for the second time against Shamil "The Cobra" Gasanov.

Kai has dominated every featherweight MMA opponent, while Gasanov boasts a near-flawless record, leveraging his potent stand-up arsenal, grappling prowess, and submission expertise to overwhelm his competitors. After avenging his only career loss, "The Cobra" is poised to strike and may prove unstoppable.
