The International Cricket Council has announced a 10% increase in the total prize fund for the Women's T20 World Cup 2026, taking place in England and Wales this summer. This year's champion will receive $2.34m, with the runner-up taking home $1.17m.
All participating teams are guaranteed a minimum of $247,500, more than double the amount from 2024. The tournament is set to start in 60 days, with England facing Sri Lanka at Edgbaston. The winners and runners-up prize remains the same as in 2024, but there was a 134% increase in prize money for the top two teams compared to 2023. The 33-match event will be held across 24 days in seven venues, featuring teams such as Australia, Bangladesh, India, Ireland, and more.
