Renowned jockey Hollie Doyle looks ahead to a packed Saturday of racing action in her exclusive blog. Doyle will be traveling to Thirsk to ride two promising young horses for her boss Archie Watson. The first horse, Niewiadoma, is set to make her debut in the British EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes.
Doyle has been impressed with the horse's natural speed and attitude during preparation. Merlier, another horse Doyle will be riding, has shown progress on the All-Weather and will be competing in the Stirrup Bar For Deli-Style Dinning Packages Handicap. The Greenham Stakes at Newbury is also a key event, with Zavateri and Albert Einstein facing off.
Doyle believes Zavateri is the one to beat, given his impressive juvenile campaign and recent form. Other notable events include the Dubai Duty Free Stakes, where Doyle thinks Richard and Peter Fahey's Catching The Moon has a strong chance, and the Spring Cup Handicap, where Urban Lion will be looking to build on his win in the Lincoln.
