Canadian Cruiserweight Ryan Rozicki Joins Zuffa Boxing Roster

Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his formidable punching power, has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing. This move marks the latest addition to the company's impressive cruiserweight lineup, which already boasts notable names such as champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton. Rozicki, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', has an impressive professional record with 21 wins, all but one of which have been knockouts. His only loss came in 2021 at the hands of Oscar Rivas, a seasoned heavyweight contender who has only been defeated by Dillian Whyte. Since then, Rozicki has remained unbeaten in his last nine fights, frequently performing in front of sold-out crowds in Nova Scotia. In 2024, he fought for the WBC interim title, resulting in a draw against Yamil Alberto Peralta in their rematch. One of his notable victories includes a win over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with prominent boxers Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu. Rozicki's most recent bout took place in March, where he secured a second-round knockout against Gerardo Mellado. The boxer expressed his enthusiasm for this new chapter, stating, 'I'm excited for this opportunity and to be part of what Zuffa is building. My team has worked incredibly hard to get me to this point, and I'm ready to make a statement on this big platform.' The details of Rozicki's debut with Zuffa Boxing are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
