Conor Benn Inks Multi-Year Contract with Zuffa Boxing

Conor Benn has officially signed with Zuffa Boxing, marking a significant shift in his career. The boxer recently collaborated with Zuffa for his last match, where he secured a 10-round victory against Regis Prograis, a two-time world champion, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This was Benn's third consecutive bout at the stadium, following his epic fights against Chris Eubank Jr. Benn had revived his family's rivalry with the Eubanks in his previous two fights, moving up to middleweight and eventually avenging his initial loss to Eubank Jr with a decision victory. After dropping down in weight, Benn faced Prograis at 150lbs, as he sets his sights on major fights in the welterweight division. Dana White, Head of Zuffa Boxing, confirmed that Benn has joined the team on a two-and-a-half-year contract, comprising five fights. White expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that he personally and professionally likes Benn. Benn also shared his excitement, saying that he is eager to work with Zuffa Boxing and provide the public with the fights they desire, particularly now that he is in his prime at 29 years old. His switch from Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing to Dana White's promotional powerhouse marks a significant move in the industry.
